Are you a seasoned expert in investment performance attribution analysis? Do you have a passion for driving excellence and implementing strategic initiatives? Our client, a well-established and respected organisation in the investment management industry, is seeking a Senior Consultant to join their team on a temporary basis. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your expertise and make a significant impact on their investment performance analytics practise.

As the Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for generating attribution analysis for a diverse set of portfolios across multiple asset types. Your role will involve partnering with various teams, such as Portfolio Management, Product Management, Sales and Marketing, and Investment Operations, to deliver high-quality investment performance attribution results. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in identifying and championing digital and automation initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a subject matter expert on performance analytics and measurement, driving best practises and providing insights to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with core-competency teams to develop and execute the strategic roadmap for performance analytics.
  • Spearhead opportunities for digitization and automation to deliver reporting and insights efficiently and accurately.
  • Ensure data governance and oversight to ensure accuracy and compliance with established standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess current state and architect future state operating models.
  • Proactively identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
  • Lead special projects and process improvement initiatives to meet evolving business needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Detailed understanding of the investment management business, with expertise in equity and/or fixed income strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of attribution analysis, preferably with experience in BlackRock Solutions' Aladdin analytics.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Consultative mindset with the ability to gather market insights and influence strategic decision-making.
  • Experience driving digital and automation-driven transformation.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with accuracy.
  • Global outlook with an appreciation for diversity and cultural differences.
  • Excellent communication skills and decision-making capabilities.
  • Bachelor's degree required; CFA and/or CIPM designation strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the investment management industry, with a focus on performance and analytics.
  • Proficiency with investment tools, reporting systems, and analytic databases.
