The Role: Manager - Procurement Consultant, Value Creation

Are you an experienced procurement consultant ready to take your career to the next level? Do you thrive in leading high-impact projects and working closely with senior stakeholders? If you have a passion for procurement and a track record of delivering value optimisation, this is the opportunity for you. You must have a consultancy background at this level, and a preference to having worked on clients in heavy industries including Infrastructure, Utilities, Automotive, Energy, Rail.

Join a dynamic team and take ownership of driving procurement cost savings and value creation for a diverse client base, while also contributing to business development and consultancy growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead exciting procurement consulting projects and manage client relationships. Projects range from cost out and value creation to procurement transformation
  • Develop and execute cost-saving initiatives across indirect spend categories ie. Opportunity assessment, workshopping ideas with the client, followed by project delivery/implementation
  • Drive supplier negotiations and contract implementations
  • Analyse client needs, identify challenges, and develop tailored solutions to optimise procurement processes
  • Support team development by sharing expertise, enhancing methodologies, and building strong client relationships across various levels

Key Skills:

  • Proven ability to lead on procurement projects, particularly in value optimisation and change programs
  • Must be able to be hands on in delivery as well as leading teams
  • Strong project management skills and experience in delivering procurement outcomes
  • Indirect category experience e.g. MRO, CAPEX, FM, Professional Services, Marketing etc.
  • Preference for those with client experience in heavy industry such as Infrastructure, Utilities, Automotive, Energy, Rail etc.
  • Excellent client relationship management and communication skills
