MERJE is seeking a Senior Consultant to join a distinguished advisory firm. This role involves supporting the delivery of advisory engagements and contributing to business development initiatives. It is ideal for a professional with a background in lending or wealth management looking to advance their career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as an ambassador for the firm across the industry.
  • Develop bespoke solutions to meet clients' regulatory and operational needs.
  • Lead the creation of materials and activities for client delivery, including training, reports, presentations, gap analysis, project planning, and risk management.
  • Provide regulatory and conduct risk-focused subject matter expertise for engagements.
  • Support business development by providing regulatory insights, contributing to thought leadership, participating in webinars, engaging with stakeholders, and supporting sales bids.
  • Provide leadership to a team of consultants and support the advisory director's directives.
  • Actively participate in client account management, fostering close relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate across the business to support strategic initiatives, business planning, and operations.

Skills & Experience:

  • Knowledge and practical understanding of the UK financial services sector and FCA regulatory agenda.
  • Proven consulting experience, with expertise in lending or wealth management.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the regulatory and supervisory landscape.
  • Alignment with the firm’s values: innovation, passion, engagement, and excellence.
  • Outstanding work ethic and a desire for continuous learning and personal development.
  • Exceptional multitasking, organisational skills, and attention to detail.
