We are seeking a Performance Analyst to take a leading role in the effective management and monitoring of Asset Management performance. This position involves ensuring the effective management of departmental data, budgets, and key business objectives, identifying and investigating areas of risk or concern. The role also includes assisting the National Performance Manager in the effective performance management of all property-related matters.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Play a lead role in appraising, managing/developing, and improving the data and information support services, particularly around the Stock Investment Programme and Service Contracts.
  • Ensure effective monitoring and reporting systems are in place to provide accurate and timely information about the department’s activities, including statistical analysis and the management of information to assist in the production of key performance indicators, statutory returns, and reports.
  • Analyse, research, compile information, and write reports for senior managers relating to financial data, performance, Best Value, or strategy.
  • Work with the Surveying and Contract management teams to collate and interrogate property and/or project-related data, ensuring robust quality, integrity, accuracy, and completeness.
  • Perform quantitative data analyses and interpret the results for the business, highlighting key messages for efficiency savings.
  • Seek opportunities to take initiative, improve processes, customer satisfaction, and costs.
  • Work closely with others in preparing budgets and financial frameworks.
  • Ensure the continuous development and implementation of the Asset Management stock database.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in designing and developing business management processes to ensure the robust scrutiny and reporting of performance.
  • Experience of collating complex sources of data, managing, monitoring, and reporting of information.
  • Financial management and budgetary control techniques.
  • Knowledge and understanding of software and data packages.
  • Experience of developing, managing, and monitoring project delivery is desirable.
  • Highly effective communication skills across all levels of the organisation.
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills.
  • Highly skilled in data analysis, with the ability to present results of data analytics to others, highlighting trends and key points.
  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills and the ability to come up with innovative solutions.
  • Able to utilise sophisticated computerised maintenance systems.
  • Research and analytical skills.
  • Able to prioritise and plan effectively.
  • Excellent IT skills.
  • Educated to HND / Level 5 / Degree level or relevant experience.
