We are looking for a Senior Performance Analyst to join our team and play a key role in supporting our frontline staff in delivering high-quality services to our most vulnerable children and families in the borough.

About the Role:

In this role, you will work closely with frontline staff, their managers, and senior officers to ensure that performance and data are recognised as everyone’s responsibility. You should be a confident performance professional with a collaborative and open working style, ensuring that the outstanding work of our frontline staff is accurately reflected in our performance metrics.

As a Senior Performance Analyst, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality data analysis and visualisations to guide evidence-based decision-making.
  • Use tools like Power BI and Mosaic to transform data into actionable insights that drive better service outcomes.
  • Support continuous improvement by providing recommendations on resource allocation and service planning.
  • Help ensure compliance with reporting requirements, including statutory returns to the Department for Education and other regulatory bodies.

You will also manage a small team focused on data quality, performance, and statutory reporting, including submissions to Ofsted and the Department for Education (DfE).

About You:

We are seeking a Senior Performance Analyst with a strong background in Children’s Social Care. To succeed in this role, you will:

  • Have exceptional data and analytical skills, along with excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Work closely with services to understand their needs and support them in achieving departmental and corporate objectives.
