Ryder Reid Legal is recruiting for Senior Pricing Analyst to join one of our leading global law firm clients on a permanent, hybrid working basis at their London office. This pivotal role involves managing billing rates, alternative fee arrangements, and profitability analyses on legal matters, therefore being a crucial part in the firm's global operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate market trends and identify opportunities for billing rates and value-based billing.
  • Assist attorneys in developing pricing proposals for client pitches.
  • Model matter profitability and provide pricing analytics for firm management.
  • Research comparable firm matters to aid in budget development.
  • Design templates to assist attorneys with budgets.
  • Liaise with the Legal Project Management team to monitor budgets and recommend re-pricing.
  • Conduct periodic audits of the firm's rates and special fee arrangements database.
  • Create analyses and design reports to showcase pricing trends.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate data capture and tool availability.
  • Analyse client performance data to identify pricing opportunities.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses and complete special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of legal pricing.
  • Proactive, self-starter with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Experience:

  • University degree in business, economics, law, finance, accounting, or project management.
  • Minimum of three years in financial, procurement, or pricing roles.
  • Experience in large law firms or corporate legal departments preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel.
