Specification Manager

Location: UK (Fully Remote)
Salary: 50,000 - 58,000 per annum

Are you an experienced compliance or regulatory professional looking for a leadership role in a fully remote environment? We're seeking a Specification Manager to lead a team of technical experts in delivering regulatory and product information services to clients.

• Managing multiple client accounts and ensuring top-tier service delivery.
• Leading and mentoring a team of Team Leads and Compliance Delivery Managers.
• Acting as the senior point of escalation for client and team queries.
• Supporting business development efforts by advising on quoting, resource allocation, and turnaround times.
• Ensuring high standards of technical compliance and regulatory advice across various product categories.
• Monitoring team performance, identifying training needs, and improving ways of working.
• Providing strategic leadership in the evolving regulatory environment.
• Deputizing for the Technical Controller or Head of Compliance Delivery as required.

• Degree in food science, regulatory affairs, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum eight years' experience in a technical, compliance, or regulatory role.
• Strong knowledge of UK/EU product regulations, including codes of practice and legal requirements.
• Line management experience with multiple direct reports.
• Experience working with or for UK retailers in compliance or technical roles.
• Practical experience with specification or artwork packages.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to client sites in the UK.

• Fully remote role.
• Salary: 50,000 - 58,000 per annum.
