Currently recruiting for a Third Party Resilience Analyst for a leading insurer on a 6 month initial contract on an inside ir35 basis.

- Deliver third party exit and contingency plans that are integral to the resilience of the insurance client.- An understanding of DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act)- Experience of writing an exit plan written for 30+ suppliers - Experience of Fusion Risk Management would be advantageous.

Third Party Resilience Analyst

Third Party Resilience Analyst Requirements:

  • Developing and implementing business continuity plans for the loss of critical 3rd parties across all areas of European operations in line with DORA and UK Regulators expectations.
  • Collaborating with functional teams to conduct 3rd party business impact analysis, and scenario planning to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats to critical business functions
  • Developing and implementing comprehensive business continuity and ensuring exit plans meet business expectations, ensuring alignment with EU regulatory requirements and industry best practices
  • Evaluating and enhancing the effectiveness of existing resilience plans and processes, making recommendations for improvements
  • Designing and conducting testing, training, and simulation exercises to validate the effectiveness of continuity plans and enhance organisational readiness
  • Serving as liaison with external partners, vendors, and relevant stakeholders to align continuity efforts and maintain external dependencies
  • Providing regular reports to senior management on the status of 3rd party business continuity initiatives and recommended improvements
  • Continuously monitoring emerging risks and industry trends, adapting resilience strategies to evolving threats and business needs

Third Party Resilience Analyst - Required Experience:

  • Experience in business continuity, operational resilience, or emergency response planning is essential
  • Ability to influence and manage relationships with key stakeholders including challenging where required
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal
  • Ability to assess information and identify gaps/areas for improvement
  • A self-starter with excellent organisational skills including workload planning and measurement
  • Ability to work under pressure to stretching targets
  • Solid experience in business continuity or operational resilience
  • A strong understanding of regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices related to operational resilience and continuity planning..
