A UK Corporate Action Analyst is needed to join the team at this leading provider of financial data based in London on a full-time basis. This role is office-based, Monday to Friday.
Reporting to the Head of Research, the UK Corporate Action Analyst will be responsible for analyzing company announcements on the London Stock Exchange, creating corporate action bulletins, and liaising with registrars for critical information. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze Regulatory News Service (RNS) announcements daily.
- Create Corporate Action Bulletins using the UK CA Cabsys system.
- Conduct research on shareholder circulars and update dividend information.
- Contact registrars to obtain details on Dividend Reinvestment Plans (DRIP), scrip options, and currency elections.
- Distribute DRIP details to clients via email.
- Verify and update ex-date files daily.
- Ensure compliance with company security objectives and procedures.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Person Specification
Essential Requirements:
- GCSE-level education or equivalent.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to research and analyze information effectively.
- Basic proficiency in IT (e.g., Excel).
- Evidence of excellent customer service orientation.
- Highly self-motivated and detail-oriented.
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience working in a team environment.
- Previous customer-facing experience (1 year preferred).
- Ability to prioritize tasks in high-pressure environments.
