Package: £40,000 retainer plus commission based on each individual loans: Up to £500,000 = 0.15%£500,000 - £1,000,000 = 0.2%£1,000,001+ = 0.25%

About the position of Business Development Consultant - Bridging

Our client is an ambitious specialist lender based in Mayfair, London. They are looking for an equally ambitious BDM to join their ranks and help them further establish their standing in the Bridging/Development Finance market.

Reporting directly to the Managing Partner, the successful candidate will be responsible for executing the company's strategy with both the broker network and direct clients, adhering to the company's lending term.

To qualify for this opportunity, candidates will possess prior experience as a Business Development/Sales Specialist in the Bridging/Development finance sector and demonstrate an existing network of brokers/developers in the UK.

Responsibilities for the role of Business Development Consultant - Bridging

  • Drive revenue by aligning the organisation's solutions with client objectives.
  • Generate innovative ideas demonstrating how the organisation's offerings integrate with client strategies, effectively communicated through sales presentations (virtual & in-person where feasible).
  • Engage with brokers via email, phone, and video, guiding them from initial contact to deal closure.
  • Collaborate with the team to manage a portfolio of accounts.
  • Research and become an industry expert on trends and information.
  • Execute plans to develop and maximise market opportunities.
  • Establish and cultivate a network of potential clients, fostering new business and managing existing relationships.
  • Frequently present marketing materials tailored to the organisation's targeted client base.

Experience and skills required for the role of Business Development Consultant - Bridging

  • Experience in a similar position, with a proven track record of success is essential.
  • A pre-existing network of direct borrowers, developers, or brokers.
  • Ambitious, driven and results-orientated.
