Business Process Analyst - SAP Finance

Location: London / Flexible (with occasional travel required) - HybridType: Full-Time, Fixed-Term Contract (Circa 18 months)

We’re working with a forward-thinking organisation embarking on a groundbreaking SAP S/4HANA transformation programme. The Opportunity

As a Business Process Analyst, you’ll be at the heart of a major transformation, driving the optimisation of finance processes. Your expertise in SAP FICO modules will enable seamless integration of cutting-edge tools, ensuring improved accuracy and insight across budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities. Collaborating across diverse teams, you’ll help design and embed solutions that empower better decision-making and support long-term financial success.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate workshops with finance teams and technical partners to gather requirements and align processes with SAP best practices.
  • Process Design & Optimisation: Perform gap analyses, design robust finance solutions, and ensure alignment with organisational objectives.
  • Solution Delivery: Lead testing efforts, data migration strategies, and configuration support for SAP FICO modules.
  • Change Management: Drive user adoption through training and hands-on support, ensuring a seamless transition to enhanced planning tools and workflows.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records, from process design to training materials, ensuring accessibility and knowledge transfer post-implementation.

What We’re Looking For

Skills & Experience:

  • Finance Expertise: Solid BAU experience in Finance or FP&A as a foundation and then ideally now in a Business Process Analyst or SAP Superuser role
  • SAP Knowledge: Strong exposure to SAP FICO modules and ideally within a transformation project
  • Analytical Skills: Proficient in analysing complex financial data and identifying areas for process improvement and optimisation.
  • Communication Skills: Adept at translating technical details into actionable insights, engaging stakeholders, and facilitating workshops to drive alignment.
