Grant Thornton’s Agile Talent Community is a network of contract professionals, giving you the opportunity to work with our clients alongside Grant Thornton teams on a project-by-project basis whilst being supported by our dedicated Agile Talent team. You can choose to work with Grant Thornton as an Independent Consultant either through your own limited company or on inside IR35 terms.

Joining us in Transformation Consulting

The Transformation Consulting practice is a specialist business unit within Business Consulting service line focused on providing advice and support to clients on the design, planning, implementation, or assessment of the requirements to enable successful delivery of change.

Joining the Agile Talent Community as an interim Transformation Consultant (hybrid working), you will have the freedom to work on projects that you choose, whether full or part-time and support our clients and internal teams on short to medium-term assignments.

Skills we are looking for
  • Project/Programme Management experience for large-scale transformation and business change projects.
  • Working knowledge and experience across multiple sectors and industries
  • Proven experience of administrating the delivery of projects, PMO and Project Management including on complex portfolios, either within industry or with a consultancy
  • Development and maintenance of project plans across work streams, projects and programmes
  • Management of critical paths and other project analysis such as risk assessments
  • Administration and ownership of risk / issue and action logs and other artefacts such as dependencies trackers
  • Project / Programme management qualification e.g., Prince2, MoP, APM, and understanding and experience of other project management methodologies (e.g., Agile)
  • Excellent communication - capable of managing communications and engagement at all levels from C-Suite and project sponsorship, through to fellow team members and stakeholders
  • Ability to take initiative and self-manage, with a 'can do’ attitude, ability to cope with tight deadlines and work under pressure
