IT Consultant

Role: Technical Project ConsultantLocation: Farringdon, London (3 days per week with client visits)Salary: Up to £60,000 (DoE)Are you an experienced project consultant with a strong background in structured cabling? I'm working with a market-leading client with a requirement for a client-facing Technical Project Consultant!The Role:As a Technical Project Consultant, your primary responsibility is to sit between clients and internal design and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery in a fast-paced technical consultancy. You'll be involved in the entire project lifecycle, from taking the client's initial requirements, establishing IT briefs, defining strategy and then managing procurement, contractors and delivery through to final handover.The Client:This business is a well-established IT consultancy with experience across IT, AV, Security and Building Systems who, following an increase in their client base, are in a period of rapid expansion. Their culture revolves around a fully flexible working environment and they have lots of opportunities for growth, progression and professional development.Requirements:

• 5+ years commercial consultancy experience, delivering technical projects for a range of clients.
• Strong knowledge of structured cabling systems and architectural requirements, ideally from a hands-on cabling background.
• Experience designing and specifying IT infrastructure in commercial spaces.
• Exposure to RIBA work stages.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Full UK driving license and own vehicle.

Desirable:

• Degree level education in a related field (Telecoms, Manufacturing, Computing etc.).
• Relevant industry qualifications (CNID / CNIDP or BICSI).
• AutoCAD experience.
• Strong business acumen.
