Reed Secure is a specialist provider of permanent, contract, temporary and outsourced recruitment solutions for security cleared professionals.

We require an Operating Model Consultant to cover an existing workload within Counter Terrorism Policing, based in Empress State Building (Hybrid working).

This is an interim position for an initial 6 months with the potential to be extended, dependent on workload.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and amend business operating models.
  • Focus on organisational design, including people, structures, information access, and governance.
  • Work within existing project structures, often as the sole design analyst.
  • Regularly check in with supervisors for guidance and assistance.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify organisational problems and opportunities and determine the impact of these on CTP’s existing operating model.
  • Develop evidence-based solution options with associated assessment criteria  to mitigate these problems and opportunities.
  • Design operating model changes from conceptual to physical across all components (e.g.  People, Process, Organisation. Governance, Culture etc.).
  • Support the translation of complex organisational problems and solutions into simple compelling narratives that achieve broad business consensus.
  • Lead in the organisation of workshops, stakeholder engagement and other relevant meetings and boards.

Skills and experience needed to be successful in this role:

  • Experience: 3-4 years in business operating model development, preferably in a consultancy.
  • Skills: Strong organisational design skills, including process development and ways of working.
  • Independence: Ability to work autonomously with confidence and credibility.
  • Experience in developing Business Operating Models, and an understanding of the value that they add to an organisation.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis to support evidence-based decision-making and risk management.
  • Experience of undertaking analytical activity using formal methodologies and approaches, including collecting and analysing complex or incomplete data in order to provide concise and meaningful recommendations.
  • Solutions-oriented, innovative, forward-thinking approach to complex challenges.
  • Experience of building confidence with various stakeholders, managing expectations and dealing with conflicting requirements and priorities.

This role offers a competitive salary of £550 per day Umbrella / £426.57 per hour PAYE (Inside IR35) and you’ll be working via Reed who offer great benefits such as discounts, cashback offers and more as well as weekly pay.
