Our client is seeking a Quality Enhancement Specialist to lead all quality-related activities for new model launches and sold vehicles in the UK EV market. The successful candidate will advocate for customer satisfaction within Aftersales and the broader business to drive ongoing product quality improvements. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in quality management, data analysis, and process improvement techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuously analyse various sources of product quality data (e.g., Warranty claims, Technical Support Orders, Port teams, Parts and Logistics) from UK dealers and stakeholders, spearhead internal investigations, and ensure timely reporting to HQ for product enhancement initiatives.
  • Utilise data to inform decisions for effective market actions, delivering top-tier products to customers.
  • Conduct field investigations to identify issues, gather data, and explore potential root causes, providing feedback to internal stakeholders and HQ.
  • Validate proposed repair methods to address identified quality issues.
  • Develop Technical Upgrade bulletins to communicate necessary market actions for agreed quality improvement topics.
  • Promote a customer-centric quality mindset.
  • Drive continuous improvement in vehicle quality within the market.
  • Serve as a liaison between Warranty, Tech Support, and other departments to identify and address quality concerns.
  • Ensure action plans are in place for top trending items and regularly reviewed for containment/countermeasure at HQ.
  • Facilitate meetings among all parties involved in the quality process to mitigate and define next steps for high-risk/cost issues.
  • Continuously review and enhance quality processes.
  • Assist in creating product quality performance reports for senior management.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure consistency in quality practices.

Required Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in quality improvement, process improvement, technical analysis, or compliance.
  • Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or other quality methodologies is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and quality management.
  • Technical or engineering qualifications or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to influence and engage at all levels to maximise customer satisfaction.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Training in hybrid and electric vehicle systems is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Customer-focused approach.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Full and clean driving licence.
