Eames Consulting is partnering with a leading international insurer on the appointment of a Senior Conduct Risk Analyst. This role will be based in London and aids the Head of Conduct Risk in driving robust conduct risk compliance outcomes across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution of Consumer Duty and product governance initiatives across all business areas.
  • Contribute to product governance by conducting reviews and fair value assessments of products, including evaluating customer communications and services. Provide insights on potential customer outcomes and regulatory risks, and suggest actions to mitigate them.
  • Assist with the ongoing development and maintenance of the product catalogue for the business's regulated entities, collaborating with the DUA team to gather and update key product details and policy information from stakeholders.
  • Manage the product catalogue and product risk calculator to ensure timely and compliant completion of product reviews and fair value assessments.
  • Support Delegated Authority oversight to identify and address conduct risks, including participating in due diligence and audits of third-party delegates (e.g., coverholders, DCAs, ARs).
  • Collect and analyse conduct-related management information (MI) to detect any actual or potential customer harm or negative outcomes. Carry out customer outcomes assessments and recommend corrective actions.
  • Contribute to governance reporting by preparing regular conduct risk updates for relevant oversight committees.
  • Advise the business on interpreting and applying conduct risk policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Perform horizon scanning to identify emerging or changing regulatory requirements. Collaborate with the Conduct Risk team, Compliance, and business stakeholders to assess impacts and provide advisory support for implementation.
  • Provide advisory and oversight support for various business initiatives and projects as required.
  • Help design and deliver training sessions on Consumer Duty and conduct risk topics for relevant staff members.
  • Support the Conduct Risk team in maintaining and developing the Consumer Duty/Conduct Risk Framework, ensuring policies and procedures are reviewed annually and remain up to date.
  • Assist with conduct risk-related queries from the business, escalating to the Conduct Risk Manager or other functions as appropriate.
  • Promote a strong culture of conduct within the business to deliver optimal outcomes for customers and policyholders.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong FCA/Conduct Risk and Consumer Duty knowledge.
  • Lloyd's market knowledge/experience.
  • Strong communication skills at all levels.
  • Prior experience in identifying regulatory compliance requirements and implementing them in the business.
