Business Development and Marketing Executive£35,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience)West End (hybrid)Our client is a grant making consultancy organisation, supporting charities, public and private sector. This is a brand new role to drive and raise the profiles and reach for grant makers and funders. You will be responsible for driving business development, by networking and strategic marketing and brand awareness campaigns.THE ROLE:
  • Identify and develop new consulting opportunities with key target audiences such asDirectors of Funding, Grants Officers, and Local Authorities’ Purchasing and Contracts teams.
  • Develop and execute strategies to increase awareness of the business through targeted social media campaigns and relevant content creation.
  • Build relationships with decision-makers in target sectors.
  • Drive interest in and sales of company events and training opportunities for organisations seeking support in evaluation, social impact, and strategic planning.
  • Collaborate with the team to produce high-quality resources, tools, and data products that showcase our expertise and add value to our audience.
  • Lead the development and growth of the companies existing initiatives, ensuring it becomes a sought-after resource for professionals in our field.
  • Establish us as a go-to resource and industry expert in evaluation, social impact, and innovation through thought leadership and proactive engagement.
THE PERSON:
  •  Previous experience and connections working in a similar sector, such as Membership, Grant Making and Charities
  • A proven ability to identify and capitalise on business opportunities and drive growth.
  • Confidence in presenting ideas, building relationships, and producing engaging content.
  • Experience in leveraging social media platforms to engage audiences and build brand awareness.
  • Understanding of funding, grants, social impact, and local authority procurement processes.
  • A track record of promoting and selling services, events, or training opportunities.
  • Ability to work closely with consultants and leadership to align business development with organisational goals.
