One of the City’s most successful US law firms has a new and exciting opportunity for a Business Development Coordinator to join their newly revamped Business Development division, focusing on their world class litigation practice group.

£50,000 - £55,000

Hybrid Working – 4 days office / 1 day remote – Hours 9.30-5.30

The Business Development Coordinator will report into the Senior Business Development Manager for the Litigation practice, consisting of; Disputes, Tech, Real Estate, Investment Funds, International Arbitration and Anti-trusts. There is a strong amount of events support in the role which will also involve generating new business leads and identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities, working on bids, directory submissions, marketing content, events, social media and website updates.

Responsibilities of the Business Development Coordinator:

  • Organising sponsored webinars, seminars and receptions for clients and prospective clients in the region
  • Support on event logistics, including invitations, nametags, handout materials, site management, speakers, visual presentations and follow-up
  • Creates a workplan for assigned events and manages resources to ensure critical deliverables and milestones are met in adherence to event workplan
  • Coordinate website and social media event promotion in collaboration with our digital marketing team
  • Coordinates and manages pre-planning and debriefing meetings with stakeholders
  • Coordinate metrics and tracking tools to report on results of programs
  • Support with preparing event related materials and presentations
  • Coordinates event ticket requests for client hospitality
  • Liaises with lawyers to produce and distribute client communications, including new lawyer announcements, invitations, updates and newsletters, including posting to website
  • Assist in the drafting, editing and maintenance of lawyer bios
  • Help identify relevant regional speaking and other credentialing opportunities for our lawyers, assists in the production of required materials
  • Leverages firm technology such as InterAction (contact management system) to document and track all client and prospective client outreach
  • Produce collateral materials that support sponsorships and advertisements
  • Supports special projects as requested by Senior Business Development & Marketing Managers
  • Supports digital media content and related metrics

Requirements of the Business Development Coordinator:

  • Educated to degree level and/or studying towards a recognised marketing qualification
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in BD & Marketing focused position, preferably in a law firm
  • Confident user of CRM software, preferably InterAction, Vuture and document management systems
  • Strong computer skills, including Adobe Acrobat
  • Demonstrated writing, editing and proofreading skills
