Role Overview:

Ultimately, they are seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Sales Executive to join the team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving delegate subscriptions, dinners, hackathons, and networking events while building long-term relationships with clients across diverse industries.

The Business Development Sales Executive will play a pivotal role in generating revenue by selling event access packages, securing repeat business, and identifying new opportunities in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Generation:
    • Proactively sell delegate subscriptions for events and conferences to new and existing clients by cold calling and email.
    • Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets.
    • Develop and execute effective sales strategies tailored to client needs.
  2. Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and industry professionals.
    • Act as the main point of contact for subscription inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
  3. Market Research and Lead Generation:
    • Conduct research to identify potential customers and new market opportunities.
    • Qualify leads and maintain a robust pipeline.
  4. Communication and Negotiation:
    • Clearly articulate the value proposition of events and subscription packages to potential clients.
    • Handle objections effectively and negotiate contracts to close deals.
  5. Reporting and Feedback:
    • Maintain accurate sales records and update CRM systems regularly.
    • Provide feedback on market trends and customer needs to inform product and event development.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven Experience:

  • Previous experience in B2B sales, preferably in events, media, or subscriptions.
  • A track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • A minimum of one year’s B2B sales experience is preferred.

• Exceptional Communication Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and persuade diverse audiences by phone.
