Business Development Executive
A particularly exciting time to join a renowned multi-practice UK law firm, who are part way through their next five-year strategy period and are seeking to hire a Business Development Executive on an initial 9-month fixed-term contract.

This role will report into the Marketing and Business Development (BD) Director and will work with the wider BD & Marketing team that consist of a Communications & Marketing Manager, a BD Manager and BD Assistant.
Business Development Executive Key Responsibilities:
- Support the BD Manager and Marketing and BD Director with implementing some of the BD elements of the five-year strategic plan, helping the firm continue to grow through focussed client and intermediary activity
- Organise BD events and attendance by fee earners at conferences and seminars
- Produce high quality awards and directory submissions as required by the firm
- Support on pitches with the BD Manager and leading on pitches as appropriate with the fee earners
- Responsible for supporting the BD team to deliver business development tactics and materials in a timely and consistent fashion and to a high quality
- Work closely with the Communications and Marketing manager to support the fee earners with campaigns on topics relevant to their practice areas utilising the full suite of BD and communications tactics
- Show best practice CRM usage by utilising the current CRM system to deliver client intelligence to support any relationship management activities and provide any required data entry and data management as needed
Business Development Executive Skills & Requirements:
- At least 2 years’ Business Development experience within a law firm
- An understanding and track record of delivering effective business development support in professional services
- Excellent written, creative, and organisational skills and be highly IT literate
