About the Role
We are looking for an ambitious and driven Business Development Executive to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a Sales Development Representative with 2-3 years of experience or someone with 1-2 years of Business Development experience specifically within the R&D Tax Credits industry. This is a great opportunity to step into a client-facing, closing role, working closely with Senior Business Development Managers to identify, nurture, and convert new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of potential clients within the R&D Tax Credits sector
  • Conduct outbound prospecting via cold calling, direct messaging, and email outreach
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads, identifying businesses that can benefit from R&D tax relief
  • Engage with decision-makers, understanding their needs and positioning our solutions effectively
  • Support Senior Business Development Managers in closing deals, gaining hands-on experience in consultative sales
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM systems (Pipedrive) and report on sales activity and progress
  • Nurture long-term relationships with prospects to develop future sales opportunities
Requirements? 2-3 years experience as a Sales Development Representative or 1-2 years in a Business Development role within the R&D Tax Credits industry (essential)
? Comfortable working in a target-driven sales environment with incentives
? A natural communicator with strong phone, email, and messaging skills
? A proactive and ambitious mindset with a willingness to learn and develop closing skills
? Experience using CRM systems and sales outreach tools
? Ability to work remotely, though a hybrid setup in London is preferable
