A modern, progressive and commercially-oriented international law firm, with a dynamic and enterprising approach, is hiring a Business Development Executive to help support the growth of their cross firm Regulatory practice.

You will be joining a collaborative and creative environment, which is flexible, transparent and friendly in a role offering plenty of opportunity to learn and progress. This position would suit an experienced Business Development Assistant, Coordinator or Executive who is looking for a full mix role where they can make a strategic impact and help shape the growth of one of the firm's most dynamic practice areas. The role offers a balance of project ownership and autonomy with the opportunity to get involved in team initiatives working alongside the wider marketing and business development team and supporting the Senior Business Development Manager and Business Development Manager with the implementation of the Regulatory strategic plan. The role will be both high profile and extremely varied, working with teams across the breadth of the firm and being involved in all of the operational workstreams that drive the BD strategy forward. Overseeing BD budgets and working alongside lawyers to implement appropriate positioning and business development tactics, the successful applicant will support the delivery of bids, proposals, client presentations and capability statements, drafting compelling and engaging content, and will work alongside the Senior Business Development Manager to develop the Key Account Programme and implement CRM best practice. On the marketing side, the Business Development Executive will support on directory submissions and events, provide advice and guidance to lawyers in regards to profile raising and work on marketing and brand building activities.

Confident, strategic and commercially-minded, the ideal candidate will have proven experience in a marketing and business development role gained within a professional services firm, ideally another law firm, and will have a strong understanding of B2B marketing, BD and relationship management. Strong operational, project management, communication and influencing skills will be key to success. It is essential that the Business Development Executive is flexible, proactive and has a high attention to detail. Previous experience of working with Regulatory, Compliance or Dispute Resolution groups would also be highly advantageous.
