One of the country’s leading accountancy firms are looking for an outstanding Business Development Manager to support their Financial Services team.

You will be joining a forward-thinking firm and will receive the support, training and opportunities you need to succeed both personally and professionally. The successful applicant will work closely with Business Services Partners, the Business Development Director and the wider BD team to help develop, shape and manage the firm’s growth strategy for audit and non-audit services to listed and private companies. Generating market intelligence and conducting research to inform business development strategy and plans, you will develop strategies to target new clients and build market share. You will be expected to understand and develop existing client relationships and develop and monitor relationship plans to create and enhance conversations with prospective clients. The Business Development Manager will work also with the Proposals team to ensure tender documents and pitch presentations reflect clients’ needs and articulate the firm’s value proposition. In addition, the successful applicant will be responsible for collaborating with the Marketing team to ensure marketing initiatives, events and thought leadership support and deliver business development objectives and will create cohesive action plans for campaigns to maximise opportunities, managing activity and reporting on progress.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated self-starter with outstanding relationship building skills. To prosper in this excellent position you will need to be an experienced Business Development Manager with a proven track record of success working in the corporate market in a professional services environment, ideally in Audit. You will also need to possess a strong understanding of the market, competitive and regulatory landscape and will be able to demonstrate past success in managing and delivering successful business development initiatives.
