Business Development Representative - Digital Solutions & Insights

We are seeking a Business Development Representative to drive growth by identifying and engaging potential clients through tailored outreach and strategic lead generation. This is a fixed-term maternity cover position with the potential for extension based on your performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Outreach

  • Conduct targeted outreach via LinkedIn, email, and phone to engage potential clients.
  • Set up three qualified client meetings per week and maintain a target of 100 outreach activities weekly.
  • Tailor messaging to align with the needs of different industries, personas, and pain points.

Inbound Query Management

  • Promptly handle inbound inquiries, qualify leads, and provide helpful follow-up to ensure engagement.

Client Engagement Setup

  • Arrange demo and scoping calls with prospective clients, collaborating with the Commercial Director to customize their experience.

Research & Insights Sharing

  • Stay informed on market trends, share relevant insights, and identify new opportunities to target.

Relationship Building

  • Re-engage lapsed clients and maintain strong relationships with existing leads.
  • Provide personalised updates to drive engagement and nurture long-term opportunities.

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong communication skills and confidence in B2B outreach.
  • Background in market research, SaaS, or B2B sales (market research-related experience preferred).
  • Resilience, adaptability, and a proactive, goal-driven mindset.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with CRM and sales platforms like HubSpot and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Interest in technology, research, or SaaS solutions.
