Global Business Development - Retained Search
Basic 30k-40k
OTE 1st year - 60k, 2nd year 90k
Location: Victoria, London
My client is seeking a global business development consultant to sell retained search solutions to Tech and Software companies that are expanding and growing a foot print across Europe. You will be working with ambitious start-ups and scale-ups who at exciting phases of growth. They have an excellent track record of helping clients enter new markets typically placing Country managers, sales Directors, marketing, operations and product talent. They have a team in the US and focus on Europe from Uk.
The role:
- Generate new leads through targeted research and cold calling in line with
individual targets
- Profiling target clients through LinkedIn, database and other sources
- Maintain high level of contact with existing clients to develop further
opportunities with prospects
- Manage and control individual sales pipeline to ensure revenue targets are
consistently achieved
- Managed the end to end sales process from a client perspective for retained
and contingency assignments
- Arrange and attend sales meetings in line with individual targets
- Negotiate and close Retained and Contingency projects
- Account Management and collaboration with Resourcing team to deliver on projects
Your profile:
- You will have a minimum of 2 years sales experience
- If coming from a recruitment background you will have experience winning new business
- You will have experience of proactive outreach to prospects.
- You will enjoy new business

The basic salary will be 30-40k depending on experience
