Oakleaf is proud to be partnering with a global airline based in London in their search for a new Learning and Development Business Partner. This is a full-time permanent opportunity based in the office 3 days a week and 2 days working from home.

What is the role?

Reporting to the Talent Director and in collaboration with the rest of the Learning and Development team, you will be involved in shaping learning and training initiatives across the globe, with a particular focus on global new joiner onboarding/orientation program, early careers programs, and skills and talent development programs. All programs will need to meet the diverse needs of a global 24/7 operation.

By partnering with business managers you will have a deep understanding of the needs of teams and individuals. You will create learning opportunities to develop employees so that the skills are aligned to the needs of the business. This hands-on role will involve the sourcing, creation and delivering of learning programs and content.

Candidate profile

You will be an experienced learning and development professional who is a good business partnering with clear communication and strong presentation skills. You must be a strategic thinker that can articulate ideas in a clear and commercial way.

You will have experience working in a dynamic business environment supporting the learning of the employees to meet business needs. You will have worked with subject matter experts to design, develop, and deliver engaging and effective training programs and workshops for employees at all levels. Experience developing new joiner onboarding, skills and talent development programs is essential.

You will be comfortable using and developing content for Learning Management Systems. Experience using Cornerstone will be an advantage, however, not a pre-requisite. You will be confident in handling data and using it to support better decision making.
