Marketing Business Development Executive

Location: London, hybrid model.

Salary: £45,000

I'm currently partnered with a well-established, innovative legal firm, which operates as the largest firm in its field, in the search for a Marketing and Business Development Executive.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a leading PS firm, where you will be able to develop and implement BD and Marketing plans at a local, national and international level.

London based, you will liaise with partners and clients, to develop and cultivate new and existing relationships. You will report directly to the Marketing Business Development Manager for the South of the UK, and work alongside other Marketing Business Development specialists.

Day-to-day:

  • Establish a sector-based expertise in one or more national growth areas in collaboration with the MBD Manager.
  • Provide pragmatic, one-on-one MBD advice to lawyers so they can develop client relationships and get new clients.
  • Utilize integrated marketing and BD to generate leads. Determine BD opportunities and support the pursuit of qualified leads. Finding and working with local and national networks.
  • Manage conferences, seminars, sponsorships, and exhibitions, both externally and internally. Make sure all marketing activities are evaluating and maximizing ROI.
  • Identify and gather thought leadership content for articles, newsletters, and seminars with the Corporate Communications Manager.
  • Participate in the firm's social media and website. Measure client satisfaction with our Client Support Manager.
  • Organise MBD meetings with attorney groups; make sure action points are delivered.
  • Coordinate and contribute to their credentials and work experience database, including supporting legal rankings submissions.
  • Assist the bids and tenders manager with pitches. Monitoring and managing MBD budgets; preparing expenditure reports.

Background:

  • Three years' experience (ideally) in a PS firm.
  • Degree, ideally in marketing or BD.
  • Analytical skills and attention to detail.
