Our client is a specialist inbound tour operator based in Central London now recruiting, an experienced Senior Groups Operations / Account development Executive with strong knowledge of working in the UK Travel Inbound market / Group Reservations.
You will be managing the agent and account developing, working closely with costings and quotations for tour requests.
This is a Hybrid position, London. 3 Days Office, 2 Days working from Home
Senior Groups Operations / Account Development Executive duties include:
- Working directly with the agent account developing, dealing with costings and quotations.
- Booking accommodation and ground services throughout the UK.
- Answering queries and providing advice on various travel products and services.
- Negotiating rates with suppliers including hotels, coaches, restaurants, guides and entertainment venues
- Building close working relationships with travel trade clients and suppliers
- Attending site inspections and preparing and attending Fam trips
- All Operating aspects of the tour to final invoicing
- Attending Trade shows and Exhibitions to represent the Company
Senior Groups Operations / Account Development Executive Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous DMC experience dealing with inbound groups / FIT and working with costings and quotations essentional.
- Fluent Spanish / Portuguese speaker
- Exceptional Customer Service skills, looking to always exceed expectations
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Ability to work in a busy, fast paced environment
