Community & Partnership Engagement Executive - Stop Smoking

We are seeking a Community & Partnership Engagement Executive to develop and maintain strong partnerships with local services and stakeholders. This role is crucial for increasing referrals into our service and supporting with onward/outward referrals and signposting to other services. The successful candidate will play a key role in achieving partnership-related requirements and enhancing community and stakeholder engagement to maximise referrals and promote healthy behaviour change.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Strategy Implementation: Support the delivery of the Community & Partnerships Engagement Strategy by driving quality referrals, building relationships with key pathways, and working with our Marketing and Communications Team to support the deployment of resources.
  • Referral Pathways: Establish effective referral pathways into and out of the service, working collaboratively to maximise opportunities and develop cross-sector avenues for referrals.
  • Community Engagement: Develop and deliver presentations and engage with the community through pop-ups and stands to promote services, attend community events, and support stakeholders with learning opportunities.
  • Performance Management: Work with managers to review and deliver agreed KPIs/Targets, engage with new channels, and report innovative referral strategies and their effectiveness.
  • Continuous Improvement: Keep records of interactions with stakeholders and communities, and proactively feed this into the continuous improvement plan for the service, focusing on feedback, accessibility, and cultural relevance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Essential:
    • Experience working with a range of stakeholders and communities.
    • Experience presenting to large groups and chairing meetings.
    • Strong partnership building skills.
  • Desirable:
    • Qualifications in community development.
    • Experience in health, voluntary sector, or social care environments.
    • In-depth knowledge of the contract area.
