AML & Conflicts Analyst

RedLaw is collaborating with a renowned law firm that is seeking an AML and Conflicts Analyst to join their London team on a permanent basis.

This is a unique opportunity for someone with at least 12 months of experience in AML and Conflicts who is ready to take the next step into an Analyst role and become part of a supportive, growing team.

In this dynamic role, reporting to the firm’s Risk and Compliance Manager, you will have the chance to shape and implement innovative processes related to AML, conflict resolution, and broader regulatory affairs. Your responsibilities will include compiling client and matter risk assessments for all client types and providing feedback on the risk scores assigned by the requesting partner. You will also be responsible for monitoring both new and existing clients, addressing high-risk queries from the team, and escalating issues to the firm’s management when appropriate.

Additionally, you will assist with partner and fee earner training, stay up-to-date with current AML regulations, best practices, and procedures, and establish information barriers while handling day-to-day queries. Conducting research using online commercial databases and national company registries will be key, as well as performing routine checks for sanctions, PEPs, and adverse media.

To be considered for this role, candidates must have at least 12 months’ worth of relevant legal compliance experience gained within a law firm setting.
