Assistant Socio -Economic Consultant - Central London - £Negotiable

Are you passionate about how development impacts society and the economy? We are looking for an Assistant Consultant to join our client's Strategic Land & Regeneration Team in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dynamic and ambitious team of specialists renowned for their critical thinking, attention to detail, and commitment to achieving the best outcomes for clients, communities, and society.

About the Role: As part of the Socio-Economics Department, the successful candidate will:

  • Conduct research to maintain the company's standing as an industry leader.
  • Prepare written evidence supporting development cases.
  • Undertake impact assessments (health, equality, social value, and education).
  • Create innovative maps, charts, and graphs (training in GIS provided).
  • Perform statistical analysis on demographic and economic data.
  • Collaborate with clients, planners, architects, and technical specialists to assess and shape developments.

What We're Looking For: Ideal candidates will have:

  • A passion for the built environment and an understanding of its societal and economic impacts.
  • Strong numeracy and data analysis skills, with the ability to confidently interpret and apply statistics.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Strategic thinking abilities and a problem-solving mindset.
  • A degree or equivalent experience in relevant fields such as geography, planning, politics, economics, or business, though a specific academic background is not essential.
