Ryder Reid Legal is recruiting for a Business Development Specialist to join one of our prestigious, international law firm clients on a permanent, hybrid working basis at their London office. The BD Specialist will report to the Senior Business Development Manager, supporting the European BD efforts. The role will involve developing and delivering business development support across relevant clients, industries, and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement business development and client plans initiatives.
  • Manage and support the preparation of London and cross-border pitches, proposals, and capability statements.
  • Project manage and prepare directory and league table submissions.
  • Support new product launches and sector-specific campaigns.
  • Coordinate with the Events team on practice-related events.
  • Support thought leadership campaigns and other digital and media profiling initiatives.
  • Work with the US proposals team and US Business Development team on global campaigns, pitches, and cross-selling opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • University graduate with a strong academic record.
  • Minimum of three years of business, client, or practice development experience in a professional services firm.
  • Relevant marketing qualification is desirable.
  • Excellent project management, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and solve problems.
  • Proficiency in technology, databases, presentation, and spreadsheet software.
