Title: Business Development Manager

Ryder Reid Legal is currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join one of our dynamic and growing law firm clients on a permanent basis at their London office. As a pivotal member of our clients BD team, the BD Manager will generate new business opportunities, collaborate with fee earners and partners, and support the delivery of BD plans. This role requires strategic and tactical thinking, and strong analytical skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of fee-earners.
- Identify and facilitate cross-selling and client sharing opportunities.
- Conduct extensive client and market research.
- Provide guidance on business development activities.
- Develop and maintain a library of resources for bids and pitches.
- Track and report on new business opportunities.
- Manage the BD budget and track expenditure.
- Support client development initiatives.
- Identify and manage speaking and sponsorship opportunities.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 5+ years in a similar role within a law firm or professional services.
- Strong interest in Intellectual Property, Patent, and Trademark.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and databases like Nexl.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
