Business Intelligence Analyst (PowerBI SQL) London to £75k

Do you have expertise with PowerBI combined with the drive and enthusiasm to take ownership of BI activities at a growing tech start-up?

You could be progressing your career in a senior, hands-on role at a growing SaaS tech company that provide a platform for retailers, gaming and gambling businesses to retain their customer base via marketing loyalty campaigns. As a Business Intelligence Analyst / BI Analyst you'll be the first hire within this area, supported by the Head of Finance you'll oversee the implementation of the AWS Redshift Data Warehouse that has been built by a tech consultancy and take ownership of implementing PowerBI into the business to enable data informed decisions that drive efficiency and revenue.

You'll design and develop reports, dashboards and data visualisations using PowerBI to present findings clearly and concisely, collaborating with business stakeholders, such as marketing, sales, finance and operations to understand their requirements and perform detailed analysis on business data, identifying patterns, trends and insights that can inform decision-making and strategy, focusing on growth opportunities.

Location / WFH:

There's a hybrid model with three days a week in the London office and flexibility to work from home the other two.

About you:

  • You have strong experience in a Business Intelligence / Data Analysis position
  • You have expertise with PowerBI
  • You have advanced SQL skills for data querying and analysis
  • You have a good understanding of data modelling and data warehousing concepts
  • You have end-to-end project experience, are detail orientated and able to manage multiple deliverables across competing priorities
  • You have excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills with the ability to push back when needed
  • You have experience in a scaling tech company or SaaS business
  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit and strong commercial acumen
  • You are degree educated in a numerate discipline
