My customer is currently looking to engage a contract BI Data Manager for an initial 7-month contract to support their global client's Technology Transformation.
This is a tricky role that requires a hands-on BI Data Manager that has hands-on experience of SQL, DWH and ETL processes as well as line management and strong stakeholder engagement.
Essential Criteria:
- Must be hands-on competent with BI technology including SQL, DWH and SSIS / ETL processes
- Have previously been involved in a Technology Transformation
- Strong stakeholder Management at all levels
- Proven Team leadership / Management and leading from the front
Key Skills:
- Experience with data visualization, reporting, and business intelligence tools
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong understanding of data management principles and best practices
- Proficiency in data governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements
- Ability to communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong leadership and project management abilities
- Proven experience as a Data Manager or in a similar role
- Strong understanding of data management principles, methodologies, and tools
- Proficiency in data management software and tools
- Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements related to data management
- Change Management: Experience in managing change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and adoption of new data practices
