Operations Resiliency Manager

We are seeking an Operations Resiliency Manager to enhance our capabilities, processes, and systems, ensuring robust and resilient operations across the UK and Europe. This role is integral to driving the continuity of our objectives amidst disruptions, adapting to an ever-changing operating environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Manage and deliver analysis of Business Continuity Management capability for assurance and awareness, meeting legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with global Business Resilience activities for alignment across UK & Europe, including dependency mapping and systems reliance.
  • Conduct annual Business Impact Analysis & Business Continuity Plan reviews, capturing organisational changes.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders to maintain and enhance governance structure for resilience.
  • Manage compliance with organisational resiliency, regulatory, and policy requirements, supporting implementation activities.
  • Deliver new controls and procedures in response to regulatory changes, operational risk, and technology changes.
  • Review policies, procedures, and checklists systematically to ensure robustness and scalability.
  • Facilitate scenario testing activities, manage exercises, and implement recommendations.
  • Work with business continuity plan owners to maintain comprehensive recovery plans.
  • Support IT Infrastructure & Information Security Teams in disaster recovery testing.
  • Collaborate with Risk Management and Global Physical Security Teams to ensure a proper control environment and security measures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in project management, organising, and planning.
  • Ability to work independently, proactively, and be enthusiastic.
  • Experience in operational resilience, business continuity, IT continuity, crisis management, security, and risk management.
  • Knowledge of International Standards for resilience, risk management, information security, service continuity (ISO 27001, ISO22301, ITIL, etc.).
  • Understanding of digital technologies and mass notification systems.
  • Relevant certifications (BCI, DRI, CISSP, IRM) are desirable.
