Business Solutions Manager - TechnologyAre you looking for your next role in Tech? Do you want to work for the world's leading media and entertainment company?This is an exciting opportunity for a technology professional with experience in infrastructure, project management, and IT workstreams. The Business Solutions Manager will be part of the International Technology and Operations Group and report into the Technology Solutions Team. In this role the Business Solutions manager will be a key liaison to International Facilities, Workplace and Enterprise Technology groups managing engagement, resulting in the creation of design proposals for IT workstreams of larger strategic real estate projects.The Candidate will manage the delivery of Technology aspects for office move projects already inflight, working with existing stakeholders and technical leads within a robust project governance framework. Ensuring the projects are delivered on time, to agreed scope and within budget.Key Responsibilities

  • Work as a member of the Technology Solution Team within the Operations and Technology Group.
  • Technology point of contact for Workplace, Facilities and Real Estate Initiatives
  • Responsible for capturing, understanding, analysing and documenting requirements based on business and project objectives.
  • Work across multiple Enterprise Engineering groups (Networking, AV, EUC, Telephony ) to recommend solutions that ensure business needs are met.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects or programme workstreams through the end-to-end lifecycle from Inception to Completion using standard project management methodologies. Ensuring that the projects deliver to the agreed timescales, budget, and quality expectations.
  • Maintain / contribute to documentation including but not limited to, user guides, options analysis, project proposals, status reporting and Financial Trackers

Skills & Experience

  • Ability to deal with high pressure situations with senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to communicate across multiple time zones and territories
  • Evidence of credibility and influencing skills across large virtual teams with competing priorities.
  • Analytical/strategic thinker and creative problem-solver; resourceful, able to initiate change and motivate innovation and creativity
  • Demonstrated track record of developing strong relationships with key business partners and stakeholders.
  • Focused on delivering excellence through detailed planning and paying attention to detail at every stage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate technical and business concepts with leadership teams, technical developers, and end-users
  • Extremely organized, great attention to detail, and highly motivated
  • Experience gathering and documenting functional user requirements with a strong knowledge of structured IT analysis methodologies
  • Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively with remote teams
  • Experience in Media & Entertainment industry, preferable, but not essential

Education and Qualifications

  • Professional project management qualification (e.g. Prince2, APMP)

Specific Previous Experience

  • At least 5 Years experience of delivering projects within IT
  • Relevant work experience in the following areas Business Analysis, Solution Architecture or business engagement
  • Strong blend of technical experience and knowledge
  • Experience of project and programme management in large organisations, with a proven track record of delivering projects and business change programmes
  • Proactive with an excellent interpersonal, written & verbal communication style as well as planning and time management skills
  • Desktop skills - MS office, MS Visio, MS Project (or similar applications)
