This role, based in London, offers an opportunity to enhance pricing frameworks and support strategic decision-making.Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain pricing model standards and governance frameworks.
  • Ensure consistent pricing practices across all product lines and legal entities.
  • Oversee the annual cycle of pricing model updates and profitability reviews.
  • Manage integration of pricing models into hosting platforms and data systems.
  • Define portfolio analysis standards and validate analytical outputs.
  • Lead technical pricing reviews for material contracts and programs.
  • Support business planning and IELR parameterisation processes.
  • Deliver training sessions for stakeholders on pricing methods and tools.
Requirements:
  • Qualified actuary with extensive experience in London market insurance and reinsurance.
  • Proficiency in Excel, with knowledge of Power BI, SQL, Python, or R being advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and commercial judgment, able to provide actionable insights.
  • Effective communication skills, particularly when engaging with underwriters or brokers.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and implement structured solutions.
