New Business Intake Analyst

Leading US law firm is seeking a New Business Intake Analyst to join their London Office on a permanent basis.

The New Business Intake Analyst role is crucial in the creation and maintenance of master files firmwide and to assist with managing and mitigating the UK LLP’s regulatory risks.

New Business Intake Analyst Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with the UK LLP’s Senior Compliance Team, Finance Team and Client Onboarding assistant and/or supporting the Client Onboarding assistant.
  • Liaising with the US LLP’s Intake Team, Finance Team and firmwide as necessary.
  • Reviewing UK LLP and US LLP engagement letters and fee arrangements and ensuring correct rates are assigned to matters.
  • Reporting on client, matter and timekeeper information for the CFO, COO, and Partners.
  • Handling edits on client / matter timekeeper records and resolving cost errors.
  • Confirming with UK LLP and US LLP Finance Team before opening a new client / matter that the records have the correct place of supply.
  • Undertaking / refreshing any client due diligence documentation regularly, in Elite 3E for the US LLP.
  • Setting up and maintaining master files for matters and clients.

New Business Intake Analyst Key Skills & Requirements:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a law firm and familiarity with UK SRA Rules, Code of Conduct and AML legislation.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and working knowledge of 3E and / or Access.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
