Role: Principal ConsultantDomain: Technology advisory & innovation consultingIndustry: Maritime & other safety-critical industriesSalary: £80-90k (+18% bonus, 23% pension, etc)Location: London (hybrid - 2 days per week)A technology acceleration venture who specialise in innovation advisory for the industrial & maritime sectors are offering the opportunity for a Principal Consultant to join their fast growing team of 35+ employees.The Principal Consultant will work with organisations in maritime & other safety-critical industries to accelerate digital and technology adoption across areas such as IoT, IIoT, data analytics, artificial intelligence, virtual reality, wearables, robotics, etc. This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference with a mission-driven organisation by leveraging innovative technology solutions to solve complex problems around safety and risk.Responsibilities of the Principal Consultant (Technology & Innovation - Maritime)
- Leading technology project delivery with maritime & industrial clients, projects ranging from innovation POCs/trials through to full tech implementations
- Owning client engagement and relationship management across delivery lifecycle, from business & problem analysis through to implementation & go-live
- Supporting the identification and development of business opportunities by understanding client pain-points, consulting, solutionising and writing client proposals
Requirements for the Principal Consultant (Technology & Innovation - Maritime)
- Proven management consulting experience within technology & innovation
- Strong knowledge of innovative technologies (IoT, IIoT, AI, VR, data analysis, wearables, etc)
- Demonstrable experience solving problems for industrial clients through technology & innovation
- High degree of aptitude within client-facing technology project delivery
- Experience with maritime (and/or energy) clients would be extremely beneficial
