Senior Business Analyst (Report It Function) - Local Authority Digital Innovation Team

Location: Central London (Onsite 2-3 days per week)

The project focuses on enhancing the council's "Report It" function, a critical tool allowing residents to report local issues within 60 seconds via an intuitive chatbot.

The Role:

In this position, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth delivery of digital products within the "Report It" function, focusing on street cleanliness, highways, and environmental issues. You'll be working with both internal stakeholders and external partners, including a leading Google partner, to deliver key improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead business analysis for the Report It tool, ensuring smooth, effective operations.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Innovation team to develop and implement a future-focused roadmap.
  • Translate business needs into clear product and system requirements.
  • Conduct gap analysis and recommend improvements.
  • Work closely with developers, product managers, and external partners to deliver high-impact solutions.
Skills and Experience:
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst within Local or Central Government - essential.
  • Strong decision-making skills with the ability to confidently analyse and resolve business issues.
  • Familiarity with digital tools focused on public reporting, street management, or similar.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, comfortable navigating tight deadlines.
  • Experience collaborating on projects involving chatbots or automation tools is desirable.
