Based in the London office, the Senior Business Development Manager will form part of the National Business Development team. The role will be to support with managing the team, duties to include:

  • Managing a high performing national Clients & Markets team
  • Actively drive local business development activity (primarily within the Private Equity and Listed businesses teams)
  • Focus on increasing profitability
  • Drive growth, through relationship management, lead generation and identifying new opportunities through prospecting and targeting, bid management, promoting campaigns, local data management and local event management.
  • Be the business partner to the London stakeholders ensuring that the drive for growth remains on strategy and maintains momentum.
  • National travel to branches Northwest, Midlands and London area

The successful Senior Business Development Manager will have the following skills and expertise:

  • Experience working for a large Professional services business, ideally accountancy
  • Ability and previous success leading a national cross-functional team
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Be highly organised with excellent project management, time management and coordination skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong and engaging communication skills, with confidence and forge strong working relationships at all levels
  • Energetic and enthusiastic to learn and add value to stakeholders and the business
  • A sound business understanding as well as being commercially and risk aware
  • Creative, innovative and proactive approach
  • An active team player and self-starter with a 'can do' attitude
  • Driving licence
