Camino in Kings Cross is looking for an Assistant General Manager to look after ourSpanish Tapas Bar and Restaurant in Kings Cross.
Camino was inspired by a life changing trip in summer 1984driving across Spain from north to south and back in blazing heat in a tiny old black Mini. The landscape, the people and the lifestyle made a deep and everlasting impression and left a burning need to recreate a piece of Espaa back home in London.
40 years later we have 5 venues in London and a wine bar called Bar Rioja. And we are expanding.
As Assistant General Manager, you will be responsible for the operation and management of the Kings Cross restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the restaurant team with high energy and a hands-on approach.
- Be a constant presence, engaging with both guests and staff.
- Have an enthusiastic, warm, can-do, hands-on, and inspirational attitude.
- Oversee daily restaurant operations.
- Ensure the restaurant team is fully trained in all aspects of hospitality.
- Show excellent communication skills and the ability to work alongside the management team to develop ideas.
- Staff recruitment and retention with effective management, motivation, and coaching of the team.
- Strong financial acumen is essential.
Qualifications and Skills:
- At least two years restaurant manager experience managing a high-volume venue.
- A fun and engaging personality with a serious commitment to hospitality.
- Strong leadership skills with a passion for learning and development.
- Excellent communication skills, comfortable interacting with guests, staff & reporting to senior management.
- Ambition to develop the venue.
