Our clients, a well established professional body are about to recruit a Committee and Governance Executive to join one of their small but busy teams. The ideal candidate will be a graduate or equivalent, who has experience of secretariat, committee and governance work ideally gained within a membership body or not for profit organisation.
The duties for this role will include:
- general admin support including coordinating inputs to management reports
- arrange meetings, prepare agenda and coordinate the production of appropriate papers
- attend and draft minutes of committee, panel, working group and project meetings
- arrange the distribution and publication of minutes, communications and follow-up decisions
- manage and maintain documents and website
- respond to routine enquiries
- support communications to the Board and Governance Panel
- support the planning and delivery of seminars, workshops and training sessions
- support the periodic reviews of key documents
- support volunteer management
Previous experience should ideally include:
- organising meetings
- minute taking, proof-reading and copy editing
- providing secretariat for committee meetings
- excellent stakeholder management
