This will be the opening of a sophisticated, luxury café nestled in one of the most prestigious parts of London. The group behind is known for their impeccable service, exquisite menu offerings, and elegant setting, they cater to a discerning clientele seeking premium quality and a refined experience. Their first café combines the charm of a relaxed environment with the highest standards of hospitality, making it a preferred destination for locals, tourists, and VIP guests alike.

The Role:

They are seeking a dynamic, experienced Café General Manager to lead their high-performing team and oversee day-to-day operations. This role is ideal for a professional with a background in luxury or premium café operations hospitality, who has the expertise and finesse to maintain the high standards and enhance guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Leadership: Oversee all daily operations, ensuring that the café runs smoothly and efficiently, while delivering exceptional service at all times.
  • Team Management: Lead, train, and motivate the team, fostering a positive work environment that reflects the brand's luxury ethos. Manage staff recruitment, scheduling, and performance appraisals.
  • Customer Experience: Maintain an unparalleled standard of guest service, ensuring that each customer receives a luxury experience from entry to departure. Handle VIP clients with discretion and care.
  • Financial Management: Manage budgets, control costs, and oversee financial performance, ensuring profitability while upholding the cafés premium standards.
  • Menu and Product Oversight: Collaborate with the Head Chef to ensure the menu reflects the luxury positioning of the café, with a focus on quality, innovation, and seasonal offerings.
  • Brand Ambassadorship: Represent the cafés brand both within and outside of the venue, ensuring that the location is seen as a destination for luxury dining.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure that all health, safety, and hygiene regulations are strictly followed, maintaining a pristine and professional environment.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a General Manager or similar senior role in a high-end café, luxury restaurant, or premium hospitality environment.
