We are currently recruiting for an Interim Regional Director based in the South of England.

The inital contract is 2-3 Months.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage a network of care homes and services across the south of England ensuring exceptional levels of care are consistently delivered.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including external regulatory bodies, local authorities, and families of residents.
  • Oversee the preparation for and management of regulatory inspections (CQC, local authorities, etc.), ensuring readiness and optimal outcomes.
  • Provide leadership and support to local management teams, ensuring they are empowered, equipped, and motivated to deliver outstanding care.
  • Drive performance management, ensuring continuous improvement in care quality, safety, and resident satisfaction.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively to maximise efficiency and ensure financial sustainability of the services within the region.
Key Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience as a Regional Director or in a senior leadership role within elderly care or residential care services.
  • Active nursing pin is advantageous.
  • In-depth knowledge of CQC regulations and other relevant care standards for elderly care settings.
  • Previous success in improving care quality, compliance, and operational performance across multiple services.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and coaching skills with a focus on staff development and retention.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to manage complex situations and make decisions under pressure.
  • A passion for enhancing the lives of individuals and ensuring they receive the highest level of care and dignity.
