Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic **Registered Area Manager** to oversee our supported living services across Hackney, Haringey, Barnet, and Islington.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of **1 year of management experience** in supported living or a similar care setting and have a driving licence.

As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for the operational management of multiple services, ensuring high-quality care and support for adults with learning disabilities, autism, or mental health needs. You will manage and support a team of Service Managers to ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and person-centered care across all locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Managers**: Provide leadership, guidance, and support to Service Managers across your assigned areas.
  • Operational Oversight**: Ensure services operate smoothly, meet regulatory requirements, and maintain a high standard of care.
  • Quality Assurance**: Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure services are compliant with CQC standards.
  • On-Call Responsibilities**: Participate in the on-call rota to provide support outside of normal working hours.
  • Staff Development**: Lead on the recruitment, training, and development of the management team and wider staff.
  • Flexible Working**: Work flexibly to meet the needs of the services, with occasional travel between service locations.
  • Client & Family Engagement**: Liaise with service users, their families, and external stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and well-being.
  • Compliance**: Ensure services meet all safeguarding, health, and safety regulations, and are fully compliant with CQC requirements.
  • Budget Management**: Oversee the budget for each service to ensure financial sustainability and efficiency.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of **1 year of experience** in a management role within supported living or a similar care setting.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Ability to manage multiple services and teams across various locations.
  • Strong knowledge of **CQC regulations** and supported living standards.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to work flexibly, including being part of an on-call rota.
  • Experience in budget management and financial oversight.
