About the RoleOur client, a leading property organisation, is seeking an experienced Building Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a prestigious commercial property in Central London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to deliver exceptional service to tenants while ensuring the client’s investment is managed to the highest standard. As the Building Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of service and ensuring all operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service Provider Management: Oversee hard and soft service providers, manage PPM processes, and ensure the smooth operation of the helpdesk.
  • Performance Evaluation: Regularly assess service providers to maintain and improve standards.
  • Budget Management: Handle service charge budgets with a robust audit trail to ensure accountability.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Maintain full statutory compliance, ensuring the property meets all safety standards.
  • Tenant Fit-Outs: Manage and oversee tenant fit-out projects efficiently.
  • Leadership: Lead and motivate on-site teams to deliver exceptional service.
  • Energy Management: Implement energy-saving initiatives and sustainability practices.
  • Service Delivery: Maintain a proven record of cost management and service excellence.

Requirements:We’re looking for a Building Manager with demonstrable experience managing large-scale commercial office properties. You should have strong knowledge of commercial building operations, proven experience in managing budgets and service providers, and excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-centric approach. Qualifications in a Building or Facilities Management-related discipline are preferred, and IOSH or NEBOSH certification is highly desirable.
