Business Programme Manager

Outside IR35 | Remote | Start ASAP | 6 months initial

We are looking for a strategic programme manager who has experience supporting large programmes, driving forward business needs. You will be overseeing a team of Delivery Managers, whilst also supporting on the programme's strategy relating to business readiness. This programme is supporting a tech consultancy on a large-scale government programme.

Role overview:

Adhere to GDS requirements throughout
Lead and manage the business readiness strategy for the programme
Test business readiness with business scenarios
Develop, implement and manage the delivery plan for business operations
Align technical releases with operational and business plans
Senior stakeholder management across partnering consultancies as well as senior civil servants
Attend board meetings, create and present relevant analytical reporting

Requirements:

Experience with each of the above bullet points
Experience as a Programme Manager on a Business related programme is essential
High level strategic experience on large government programmes
You must have at least 5 years of experience managing large scale programmes within central government
GDS experience is essential
