Role Overview:
You will support the CDM Manager by providing CDM Consultant Services to a diverse client base, taking on the role of Principal Designer for CDM and conducting health and safety site inspections. This position offers opportunities for career advancement, including managing key clients and collaborating closely with the Partner in Charge. Additionally, you may be involved in occupational health and safety for the practice and assist with marketing and bid production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the CDM Manager in delivering CDM Consultant Services.
- Undertake the role of Principal Designer for CDM projects.
- Conduct health and safety site inspections.
- Manage key clients and work closely with the Partner in Charge.
- Contribute to occupational health and safety initiatives within the practice.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Background in construction/design with experience in CDM 2015 and the Principal Designer role.
- Strong understanding of the design hazard elimination process.
- Experience with a variety of projects, from demolition to large-scale construction.
- Excellent communication, management, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time and resources effectively.
- Willingness to travel and visit sites as needed.
- Ideally, possess a CMaPS/NEBOSH construction certificate with at least 3 years of experience.
- Full clean driving license and access to a road-legal vehicle.
